About Us
Bad Cat Studios formed in late 2004 as a way for the artists to combine their efforts in promoting and selling their wares. All 4 of the group members met in college and have been attending anime conventions since 2001. The first group appearance of Bad Cat Studios was in the Artist's Alley at Anime Central in May 2005.

Favorite Anime/Manga: Hmmm...Nausicaa was good, El Hazard (both OVA and Manga), Escaflowne (anime only), Vandread, Cowboy Bebop, Mononoke Hime, Inuyasha, FLCL, Witch Hunter Robin and Cardcaptor Sakura are both growing on me.
Guilty Pleasures: CLAMP (Chobits). Also, for some reason we own the entire Steel Angel Kurumi Series. Cat Girls. Transformers the Movie. I cried when Prime...well, you know....
If you were a part of a sentai team, what color would you be?: I'd definitely be the goofy animal mascot/sidekick. Chim-chim 2.0.

Inspirations: Wow, this one is tough. Um... I get enjoyment and fun looking at everyday objects for the quality of their lines and shapes. The quality of current and older works of all art, the line quality that other artists use. All sorts of changes occur in contemporary animation, there's plenty to learn from that.
Favorite Media: I love markers and ink for quick color and other, more involved pieces. I also enjoy and continually work with watercolors to use the mysteries of this media to my advantage.
Worst Media: Oil paints are too expensive and slow for my immediate tenancies. I have also tried and failed to use ink washes. They look like someone spilt the ink well.
Favorite Anime/Manga: Sailor Moon, Revolutionary Girl Utena, Princess Nine, Spirited Away
Guilty Pleasures: For entertainment, watching programs of my youth like Dukes of Hazzard. Though not from my youth, Ronin Warriors was my first anime and I just get a huge kick of nostalgia for me. Finally, it's a pleasure but I refuse to feel guilty about it, eating ice cream.
If you were a part of a sentai team, what color would you be?: The color that represents water and that spunky 2nd in command on Voltron--- BLUE!
